Continuous line of light in AVA Light profiles

A continuous line of light is one of the most common goals in linear lighting projects. At AVA Light, we achieve it not only by selecting the right profile but primarily by appropriately pairing LED strips and diffusers.

Which AVA Light profile to choose for a continuous line of light?

The easiest way to achieve an even, smooth glow is with the BASELYTE-10 HIGH profile. Thanks to its greater height, the LED points disappear even in more demanding configurations. A continuous line of light is possible both with a 192 LEDs/m strip with a black diffuser and with a 120 LEDs/m strip with a milky diffuser. This is a good solution where you need strong yet comfortable light and a more defined fixture form.

If the project requires a maximally discreet installation, shallow profiles BASELYTE-10 LOW and BASELYTE-10 LOW-IN come to the rescue. With appropriately dense LED strips, such as 420 LEDs/m with a milky diffuser, you will also achieve a calm, continuous line of light without visible points in these profiles.

The table attached to the article shows how different LED strips and diffusers perform in five AVA Light systems: magnetic MAGLYTE-10 and MAGLYTE-10 ANGULAR, economical BASELYTE-10 HIGH, BASELYTE-10 LOW, and the economical recessed profile BASELYTE-10 LOW-IN. This makes it easy to compare the effects and choose a profile for a specific task.
